Troy W.

Founder & Executive Stylist

From a successful career in Calgary’s restaurant industry to founding a premium salon brand, my journey has always been rooted in people, connection, and exceptional service.

Hospitality shaped my ability to anticipate needs and deliver consistent excellence. These are skills that now define my approach to salon leadership. I was drawn to the entrepreneurial spirit of hair, where trust is built over time and every guest leaves feeling like the best version of themselves.

I founded RedBloom to create a values-driven salon culture, one that puts people first, fosters growth from within, and unites a team around a clear vision. I believe when you take care of your team, they take extraordinary care of your guests. To me, true luxury is the feeling of being deeply understood. Where technical mastery meets intuitive service, and every detail is designed to exceed expectations.

As a leader, I’m guided by clarity, collaboration, and excellence with empathy. My goal is to cultivate an environment where individuals are empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive, while delivering a first-class, personalized experience that leaves every guest feeling confident, cared for, and truly seen.

Director of Operations

With 20 years in the salon industry, I was initially drawn to the creativity of hairstyling but discovered my true passion in leadership. I thrive in building strong teams and creating an environment where both people and performance can grow.

Having the honor of being RedBloom’s Operations Director, I focus on delivering consistency through having clear expectations and ensuring our team understands the “why” behind everything we do. To me, operational excellence means having the right people in place and empowering them to succeed, because when our team thrives, so does the entire salon experience.

I’m passionate about developing others through mentorship, trust, and giving people the space to learn, lead, and even make mistakes along the way. What I love most about this industry is the relationships we build—there’s truly never a dull moment.

Outside of work, I enjoy bike rides or playing games with my son, trying new restaurants, and travelling to new places.

Learning and Development & Operations Manager

With 18 years in the industry (15 of those at RedBloom), my journey has grown from stylist to mentor, educator, and now Operations Manager. I’ve always been drawn to the blend of creativity and meaningful human connection, and I’m passionate about building strong relationships that support both personal and professional growth.

I support our team through a balance of coaching, encouragement, and accountability. I believe true growth comes from staying open to learning, embracing feedback, and being willing to evolve. Our education approach is hands-on and ongoing, giving both new and experienced stylists the tools, mentorship, and confidence to continuously elevate their craft.

What excites me most is helping shape the next generation of talent. This industry has given me so much, and being part of others’ growth and success is incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and son, road tripping through the mountains, crafting, and listening to true crime podcasts—always with a coffee in hand.

Guest Experience Supervisor

I found my way into the salon industry as a client, drawn to the welcoming energy and sense of community and quickly realized it was exactly the kind of environment I thrive in. Starting as a Guest Experience Representative, I fell in love with the fast pace, the people, and the opportunity to create meaningful moments throughout each day.

As Guest Experience Supervisor, I believe exceptional service means making every client feel genuinely cared for. I support my team by helping them stay present, even in busy moments, so we can prioritize what matters most: the people in front of us. My goal is for every guest to feel a level of warmth and authenticity that goes beyond expectations, leaving knowing they were truly taken care of. What I love most is the real, human connection, being able to show up as myself and create a space where clients feel comfortable doing the same.

Outside of the salon, you’ll find me at the dog park or floating down the river, camping, or relaxing at home with my dogs and sugar gliders, coffee in hand, watching something a little questionable.

Systems Operations Manager

With a background behind the chair as a stylist and as a professional makeup artist, I’ve always been passionate about the beauty industry and the experience it creates for clients. That perspective allows me to design systems that reflect what I value most as both a professional and a guest.

As Systems Operations Manager, I thrive on creating structure, organization, and efficiency within a fast-paced salon environment. I focus on proactive, detail-oriented systems that streamline processes, reduce workload for the team, and ensure a seamless, consistent experience for every client.

I love working behind the scenes to bring clarity and flow to daily operations. By supporting both staff and guests through thoughtful, well-designed systems that keep everything running smoothly.

Outside of work, I enjoy collecting and listening to vinyl, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my fiancé and my cat, Hazel.
